Varsity vs Tri Unity Christian School (44 - 57) Loss Wyoming, MI - The WMC Boys Basketball Team took their show on the road Friday night to take on the 2X Defending State Champion Tri Unity Christian Defenders and lost 57-44. The Warriors led 11-10 at the end of one, with Tyson Annema (3), Braeden Olsen (2), Luke Proctor (2), Lucas Weare (2) and Brody Haveman (2) all contributing points during the 1st quarter. The balanced scoring continued into the 2nd with Zach Weare (2), Tyson Annema (3), Quint Menefee (2) and Lucas Weare (2) all contributing baskets during the 2nd quarter. The Warriors were down 23-20 at Halftime and 38-32 at the end of the 3rd quarter. "Out of the gate we knew the competition we are playing in our first two games is some of the best in area and obviously the state, we have great respect for Tri Unity and how they play the game." "WMC played another good game tonight, but we are still looking for 4 quarters of great basketball out of this group," said WMC Head Coach Matt Haveman. The Warriors were led by Lucas Weare (10), Brody Haveman (9) and Tyson Annema (8). The WMC is on the road this Tuesday December 9 @ Potters House Christian 7PM
