WMC Drops a Tough One to Covenant Christian on Homecoming The Warriors played a tough game against Covenant Christian on Homecoming night. The score was 12-7 at the end of the first and 18-16 at halftime. The Warriors struggled in the 3rd quarter, scoring only 6 points in the quarter while Covenant scored 17. Covenant Christian continued their hot shooting in the 4th quarter and pulled away for the 53-36 win. "I'm proud of our team tonight, that was a great environment for high school basketball, we could not overcome some cold shooting in the 3rd quarter and that was the difference in the game tonight," WMC Coach Matt Haveman said. The Warriors were led by Tyson Annema with 11, Lucas Weare with 7 and Gavriel Modderman with 7. The Warriors next game is Friday January 16 at home vs Holton 7PM
