Kalamazoo - The WMC boys' basketball team took the hour and a half ride south to Kalamazoo to take on Kalamazoo Christian and came away with a win 50-41. "We are still working through some sickness that went through our team the last 10 days, we got off to sluggish start to the game in the first half, but momentum swung our way with a half court 3 by Zack Weare to end the first half," said Warrior Head Coach Matt Haveman The Warriors were down 24-19 to end the half. In the 3rd quarter you could tell the momentum had swung towards the Warriors as they came out fired up and really played lock down defense in the third quarter. "We really talk about our defense and rebounding in every game we play, but especially on the road in your opponent's gym. We played really good defense and rebounded the ball well in the 2nd half, I'm very proud of this team and how we earned the win tonight," said Haveman. The Warriors were led by Tyson Annema with 18 points, Lucas Weare with 8 points, Gavriel Modderman with 8 points and Seth Moorhead with 6, WMC is back at tomorrow with a home game vs Holton at 7 PM "Our team is ready for a home game tomorrow night," said Haveman
