Norton Shores, MI- The WMC Warriors took on state ranked Pewamo-Westphalia in their home gym on Tuesday night, falling to the Pirates 54-50. "What a great atmosphere for high school basketball tonight, I'm so proud of this team, we played with grit in every game this year, but tonight we just came up short to a really good team" said WMC coach Matt Haveman. "You tip your cap to Pewamo Westphalia, that's a well-coached team that plays the game the right way, we are disappointed in the outcome tonight, but we know that brighter days are ahead for this program," said Haveman WMC was led by Tyson Annema 14 points, Gavriel Modderman with 9 points and Lucas Weare and Brody Haveman both had 6 points on the night. WMC finishes the season 10-11 overall with a District 73 Championship.
