Western Michigan Christian (WMC) delivered a complete performance, combining controlled possession, disciplined defending, and clinical finishing in a 4–1 victory over Ludington. WMC dictated the tempo throughout the match, maintaining composure on the ball and limiting Ludington’s attacking opportunities with a strong defensive shape. Their efficiency in front of goal proved decisive, as they capitalized on key chances to secure a convincing win. Head Coach McFarland was pleased with the team’s performance, noting, “For this being our third time on the turf, I thought the girls played well. We completed some good strings of passes and created quality chances in front of goal.” Standout performances came from Molly Visser, Allie Buchner, Lainey Postema, and Sophia DeJong, who each played key roles in WMC’s dominant effort. Goals scored Sophia DeJong x2 Emersyn Paling and Mia Oppenhuizen each had one.
