The Cross Country teams were back in action on Wednesday afternoon, competing against teams at the Alliance League Jamboree #3 at Johnson Park. While not competing for scoring positions in this race as we are not part of the Alliance League, we focused on pack running, building momentum and confidence through the race and finishing strong. Owen Sytsema (18:19), Sam Hwang (18:21), Josiah Scholma (18:25), Eli Morse (18:29) and Micah Scholma (19:17) competed in what would have been scoring positions for the Warriors while Jack Walter (21:37) and Bash Navis (22:20) rounded out the top 7 spots. On the Girls side, Rochelle Liu paced the Warriors with a 22:32. Lena Studer was our 2nd runner today (23:32) and next through the line came the hard working pack of Sophia Gammon (25:37), Martina Choliz (25:53) Evie Folkema (25:54) Annabelle Walter (25:57). Rounding out our top 7 was Rowan VanWoerkom (29:33).
